When you are walking around Brussels, it's never usually very long until you pass at least one art gallery. There are so many art galleries in Brussels that there is sure to be something for everyone, whether you are a lover of classical art or more modern works.

Particular notable art galleries include the Guillaume Charlier Museum (Charliermuseum), where an outstanding collection of Belgian paintings from the 19th century can be enjoyed, and also the Museum of Ancient Art (Musée d'Art Ancien), which features a series of old masters from as far back as the 15th century.
